This sanctuary was created to honor the vibrant spirit, rich talents, and enduring light of my daughter, Jayna Maria. She was, and always will be, the heartbeat behind this.
At Jayna’s Light, we want to provide a safe haven for grieving parents to find solace and understanding during their toughest times. We are also open to anyone who is grieving a loss of any loved one, including pets. We also welcome friends and loved ones who want to support the grieving. Grief is grief, as Love is love.
Every grief journey is unique for each of us. While it can be easier for some to navigate, it remains a very complex territory for others. In fact, many of us struggle deeply along the way. Carrying the weight of grief often feels overwhelming, especially when emotions are difficult to process. However, there is no right or wrong way to grieve, and there is no time limit—a great majority of us will carry it for the rest of our days.
Here, you don’t have to feel alone. Our platform offers heartfelt blogs, self-guided grief care, and resources for all types of loss. Plus, we extend a gentle invitation for bereaved parents, grandparents, and parental figures to join our private online group to connect and heal at their own pace.

I am not a professional. I just want to help others who may be experiencing the deep, at times unbearable pain of their loss. I am not the first to walk this path, and I am surely not the last. You do not have to navigate this rough journey alone.
To give everyone a soft place to land, we have created a private, moderated online community for bereaved parents, grandparents, and parental figures. Jayna’s Light on Facebook is a space where you can share your favorite memories of your child or children, read others’ stories, or simply sit quietly and know you aren’t alone. There is no pressure to speak or share, no timeline for your grief, and no requirement to do anything more than just exist alongside peers who truly understand.
